Press Release: dispari&dispari is pleased to invite you on Saturday April 13, 2019 to the opening ceremony of Greenery, a project of sculpture, music and performance developed by the artist David Adamo and the composer Simon James Phillips.

The artists will convert the exhibition space into a recording studio to collect sounds produced by a constellation of art objects that the American artist has selected and conceived for the show. The exhibition will be like a large archive of wood and bronze sculpture, assembled musical instruments, drumsticks and objects scattered all around the exhibition space. Elements will be moved daily, beaten and performed by the artists in an attempt to produce vibrations. A catalog of original sound recordings will be selected, mixed and composed by the Australian musician into an inspired melodious form. The space’s constant transformation and daily interaction emphasizes not only the search for a contemporary aesthetic but underlines new possible dynamics through which to establish a more direct and engaging dialogue. Art, performance and music will mix continuously, without a fixed scheme.

The exhibition is open until June 15th.

Comunicato Stampa: dispari&dispari è lieta di invitarvi Sabato 13 aprile 2019 alla cerimonia d’apertura di Greenery, un progetto di scultura, musica e performance concepito dall’artista David Adamo e dal compositore Simon James Phillips.

Gli artisti convertiranno lo spazio espositivo in uno studio di registrazione per raccogliere vari suoni prodotti da una costellazione di oggetti d’arte che l’artista Americano ha selezionato. La mostra si presenta come un grande archivio di sculture in legno e bronzo, strumenti musicali, bacchette e oggetti sparsi in tutto lo spazio espositivo. Gli elementi verranno spostati quotidianamente, percossi e suonati dagli artisti nel tentativo di produrre vibrazioni. Un catalogo di registrazioni sonore e originali sarà selezionato, mixato e composto dal musicista Australiano in una forma melodiosa e ispirata. La costante trasformazione dello spazio e l’interazione quotidiana, enfatizzano la ricerca di un’estetica contemporanea e sottolinea nuove dinamiche con cui stabilire un dialogo più coinvolgente. Arte, performance e musica si mescolano continuamente, senza uno schema fisso.
