dispari&dispari | Berlin, is pleased to announce the opening of its new venue for contemporary art exhibitions and events in the city of Berlin. The exhibition season starts on Saturday 29 September 2018 with ‘Beigin Sassy’, a solo exhibition by London-based duo Cullinan Richards. The exhibition, conceived as an event in three acts, will present a series of works, installations and situations in constant rotation. Through ‘Being Sassy’ Cullinan Richards intend to reflect on the transient nature of their work.

‘Haulage’ is the second version of the ‘Beigin Sassy’ project. In this scenario the fragmented set of the first version is replaced by a traditional vision. The artworks, like the products on the shelves, are arranged in a repetitive, precise, compressed manner. The paintings are almost in contact with the ceiling. The void becomes an extraordinary element to investigate. On the floor there are tables and painted used tablecloths. Is the event already over?

(DE) dispari&dispari | Berlin, freut sich, die Eröffnung seines neuen Veranstaltungsortes für Ausstellungen und Events zeitgenössischer Kunst in der Stadt Berlin bekannt zu geben. Die Ausstellungssaison beginnt am Samstag, den 29. September 2018, mit ‘Beigin Sassy’, einer Einzelausstellung des in London ansässigen Duos Cullinan Richards. Die Ausstellung, die als ein Ereignis in drei Akten konzipiert ist, wird eine Reihe von Werken, Installationen und Situationen in ständiger Rotation präsentieren. Mit ‘Being Sassy’ will Cullinan Richards über den vergänglichen Charakter ihrer Arbeit nachdenken.

‘Haulage’ ist die zweite Version des ‘Beigin Sassy’-Projekts. In diesem Szenario wird der fragmentierte Satz der ersten Version durch eine traditionelle Vision ersetzt. Die Kunstwerke sind, wie die Produkte in den Regalen, in einer sich wiederholenden, präzisen, komprimierten Weise angeordnet. Die Gemälde sind fast in Kontakt mit der Decke. Die Leere wird zu einem außergewöhnlichen Element, das es zu untersuchen gilt. Auf dem Boden stehen Tische und bemalte gebrauchte Tischdecken. Ist die Veranstaltung schon vorbei?

(ITA) dispari&dispari | Berlin è lieta di annunciare l’apertura della sua nuova sede per mostre ed eventi d’arte contemporanea nella città di Berlino. La stagione espositiva inizia sabato 29 settembre 2018, con ‘Beigin Sassy’, mostra personale del duo londinese Cullinan Richards. La mostra, concepita come un evento in tre atti, presenterà una serie di opere, installazioni e situazioni in costante rotazione. Con ‘Being Sassy’ Cullinan Richards riflette sul carattere transitorio del proprio lavoro.

‘Haulage’ è la seconda versione del progetto ‘Beigin Sassy’. In questo scenario l’insieme frammentato della prima versione è sostituito da una visione tradizionale. Le opere d’arte, come i prodotti sugli scaffali, sono disposte in modo ripetitivo, preciso e compresso. I dipinti sono quasi a contatto con il soffitto. Il vuoto diventa un elemento straordinario da indagare. Sul pavimento ci sono tavoli e tovaglie usate dipinte. L’evento è già finito?
